NOV 27, 2003 - TLD HOME FROM TOUR!!!

TlD arrived home safely after a really awesome tour of the US where we performed in many of our favorite cities as well as many new ones! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us, to all our new fans, welcome to The Last World!!

Special Thanks to our friends The Cruxshadows for inviting us to be a part of their tour, TLD had lots of fun with them both at and away from shows, it was really a great time and we are looking forward to meeting up with them again in 2004. Tour highlights include our first ever show in Salt Lake City, Thank you Kelly and Deviant, An awesome Halloween show in Philadelphia courtesy DFD, TLD's return to New York City and meeting so many cool people there it was amazing, TLD's first show in Baltimore, Asheville, Jacksonville (thanks Ross), and Savannah. A really crazy 3 days in Columbia South Carolina where Jake (from LA) put on a great show that ended with TLD on stage with CXS...thanks Rogue! Rachel from CXS joined TLD on stage for "Nightmares" in Atlanta and Tampa...it was amazing....and the Tampa show was filmed for a music television station in Florida, so watch for it! TLD's return to Texas included San Antonio and Austin where we played with Hearts Fail....watch for them, and we had really fun nights in Houston and El Paso as well. The tour concluded with TLD back in Phoenix after 2 years and the welcome we received was great, thank you everyone.

The weather was a bit crazy, cold to hot to cold, etc throughout the tour, and while we managed to make it through an ice storm in Wyoming, we did not fair so well when we hit a rain storm in Houston and spun our tour van into a freeway wall....but everyone was okay, except for the van, but the tour continued and soon we will post pictures of Phil using a sledge hammer to open the back doors of the van so we could unload for sound check...speaking of, special thanks to Phil for driving, staying awake, blowing things up, and keeping our spirits alive throughout the tour! Also speical thanks to Keri Weir for taking care of our merchandise, entertaining the military boys in North Carolina, hotel wrestling with Chris and for smiling through a month long trip with TLD in a small smashed tour van.

Now on to the future.......Happy Holidays from TLD, we do wish you the best and thank you for believing in us. We have some local shows coming up, Dec 9th in LA, Dec 13th in San Diego, and then Jan 10th in Hollywood. We are currently planning out our 2004 schedule which will have us back in Europe touring again. Writing new music is also in our plans for early 2004, and we have been doing some interviews for magazines lately as well....check out Zillo, Sonic Seducer, Black, and Gothic Magazines in Europe. Also watch for the Italian magazine Ascension, with TLD and CXS on the cover, and interviews with Gothic Beauty Magazine (US) and Gothica (South Africa) are coming out soon....

Overall it is a busy time still for TLD, watch for more merch being added to our available online merch page, our new shirts and panties went over really well this last tour. Get your pre-sale tickets for the Jan 10th show early, and save money too! we will be adding photo links to pages that have pictures from this last US tour, so check them out as well. Also remember to stay up to date on TLD's Yahoo Fan Page and TLD's Live Journal Community. Many new people have joined The Last World since this last tour...yes our little world is growing and we love it...thanks!!!

Okay final words, sorry but we have been away for a while, mp3.com, the site that hosts our songs available for download, will be no more on Dec 2nd. As a result we will be moving our mp3 files to our own server, so the songs will still be available for you to download. But what this also means is that 2 releases, Fairytales and Tales from the Last World, both available only at mp3.com, will no longer be available after Dec 2. So if you want either of these, be sure to order it before then....THANK YOU EVERYONE!!

NOV 5, 2003 - CURRENTLY ON TOUR... AND...

Greetings All! The Last Dance is currently on our US Tour, using a day off in Knoxville, TN to update our website and to thank everyone so far for making this such a wonderful tour for us!

The Tour began in Salt Lake City, Thank you Kelly!! We had a really fun night with everyone there, including the bands Deviant and Domaina. After that was an interesting drive through an ice storm in Wyoming....and then meeting up with The Cruxshadows and Dancing Ferret Discs for an awesome Halloween night in Philadelphia. The next day we were in New York and were impressed and amazed at all the wonderful people and support we receveived there...thank you!! After a day off we were in Baltimore on Monday playing a smaller show but still uniquely fun and ended up at a coffee house until daylight afterwards! Special Thanks to CXS for having us along with them on this portion of their tour and for taking such wonderful care of us...and also to Patrick (DFD)for the same and Rachel(in Philadelphia) for dressing up as The Little Mermaid for Halloween!

Tomorrow, which means soon....we are off to Nashville and then we meet up with CXS again for another week plus...So far this tour has been really great for us and we are really excited about the rest of it...looking forward to seeing and meeting all of you soon!!
