Wake Me Screaming

You look for a sound, so hard to listen to
Do you find it so hard to speak
Anyone to hear you, anyone to understand
Feelings with words or without

The same with eyes who capture your meaning
To see into what you can’t form
with your breathing
One can be broken by misunderstanding
When no one will hear you, you scream

All the sounds, the sights, the feelings
Make you explode deep within
And you silently roar against the world
Against them all, against the fear
And you silently scream, you silently fade

Always expected to listen to things that
Sound so much lies and unfair
What could make the world
More unattractive
Than losing your voice
Than no one will hear
The things you fear
You hope, you want, you dream
To feel so alone can’t be right
